On December 1, 2018 we hosted our first  Sisters in Business Summit and Pitch Competition. 70 plus women from Kalamazoo, Battle Creek, Saginaw, Lansing, Southfield, and Grand Rapids participated in the event. The summit was dedicated to providing a unique cultural experience that gave women of color business owners and aspiring entrepreneurs access to resources and information. Attendees enjoyed vendors, connected to key business resources, heard from experts during the workshop sessions, and saw 7 women pitch their business.
